Living Room Mood Board

I've been wanting to make mood boards for the rooms I have in the works. Granted they're only in the works in my noggin. But I figure it will help me find the alternatives more in my price range than he items actually on my boards.

So I'm starting with the living room. Our living room is one giant space combined with our dining room. I want to make it slightly more formal because we've got a loft upstairs that will eventually act more as a family room.

Most of this stuff may look completely ridiculous together to you. Every time I take one of those design style quizzes I come out eclectic or some combination of styles. I think it will all work together beautifully. I know a lot of these items I can make myself or with Sir Luke. And I can probably find alternatives for a lot of them. But this is the overall idea and plan.

Photography Feature!

Yesterday my photography got featured on a super rad wedding blog called Style Me Pretty. I seriously can't believe that I was chosen (and so quickly!). Thanks to Abby for supporting my work and to Tamara and Evan for being such a rad couple to photograph!

Onesies

I made my nephew James some onesies for Christmas. I, geniusly, forgot to take any photos before we mailed them across the country.

So this fine photo is all I have. There was another with a plaid tie on it and another that says "The Future of Rock" with a little lightening bolt on the butt. Pretty stinking cute if you ask me. And the bow-tie is perfect for church!

Tulips

One of my most favorite gifts this year was a bucket of tulip bulbs that my dad sent to all the girls in the family. They grew SO fast! Luckily I thought to bring them to CA with us when we went down for Christmas so I got to see them bloom.
